WHO IS BEYOND 50
We are Steinn and Hildur, a husband and wife in our 50s from Reykjavík, Iceland. We founded Beyond 50, the only couples golf travel YouTube channel in the world made specifically for golfers over 50. We started the channel because mainstream golf media treats anyone over 45 like they should be sitting down with a quiet cup of tea, and we are not interested in sitting down.

WHAT WE MAKE
We post YouTube videos about every vacation we go on, golf course and resort we play etc. We have played 47 golf courses in Spain. We are filming more during our July 2026 Spain trip across Andalusia. Our reviews are honest, with specific numbers and real moments instead of marketing speak. Some courses make us swear. Some make us cry from how beautiful the 17th green is at sunset. Most fall somewhere in between. We tell the truth about all of them.

WHO WE MAKE IT FOR
Our audience is couples in their 50s and 60s, average age 55, primarily in the US, UK, Scandinavia, and Canada. They are planning their next golf trip together and often their next property purchase on the Spanish coast. They feel invisible in mainstream golf media and want to be shown the life they still want to live, not instructed.

THE MANIFESTO
We wear colourful clothes on every course we play. Pink trousers, lime shirts, yellow caps. This is not a styling choice. It is a manifesto. The manifesto says: you don't stop having fun because you get old. You get old because you stopped having fun.

WHY ICELAND MATTERS
We come from Iceland, where the summer sun does not set and the winter sun does not rise. We have learned that you make your own light. We make ours at midnight, on golf courses, in colourful clothes, with a camera and a wife who knows when to deliver one line that lands hard.
